Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 25, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how ArdaBot, Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use ChatRIP.
By accessing or using ChatRIP, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use ChatRIP, and information we receive from service providers that help operate the Service.
- Account and authentication information, such as identifiers supplied through Arda Gateway sign-in.
- Billing and credit information related to Gateway top-ups or usage, processed by ArdaBot and payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers in ChatRIP.
- Prompts, messages, generated responses, citations, source interactions, selected personas, conversation identifiers, and feedback.
- Usage analytics, such as page views, persona opens, source opens, chat prompt counts, blocked chat events, connection events, referrers, timestamps, and feature interactions.
- Device, browser, IP address, request, error, and server log information collected automatically for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- Support communications and any other information you choose to send us.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and improve ChatRIP, including to authenticate users, route AI requests, retrieve citations, preserve conversations, process top-ups, show product analytics, detect abuse, debug errors, secure the Service, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand corpus readiness, model performance, feature usage, and product quality.
3. AI Processing
When you chat with a persona, your prompt, conversation context, selected persona, retrieved source excerpts, and related metadata may be sent through Arda Gateway and to upstream AI model providers to generate a response.
Do not include highly sensitive personal information in prompts unless you understand and accept that it may be processed by these systems to provide the Service.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide ChatRIP, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business purposes such as billing records and abuse prevention.
When information is no longer needed, we delete, aggregate, or de-identify it where reasonably feasible. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law or needed for legitimate business purposes.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and operational monitoring. No internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, browser, devices, and credentials.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

9. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California privacy law, including the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sharing or selling of personal information. ChatRIP does not sell personal information.
10. Children's Privacy
ChatRIP is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
11. International Transfers
ArdaBot is based in the United States, and ChatRIP and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you use ChatRIP from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws than your country.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date. Your continued use of ChatRIP after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
